Cometan (Spanish: Kometan), born Brandon Reece Taylor and also known as Brandon Taylorian, is the founder of the religion of astronomy and the sole creator of the Spacefaring World franchise. Cometan was born in Preston, in the English county of Lancashire in the United Kingdom, on July 1, 1998.
On July 1, the day of his fifteenth birthday, Cometan received intense revelations and ideas across seven years, known as The Founding of Astronism. He applied these ideas and announcements to create the foundations of the Astronist philosophy and religion. During this time, Cometan became an autodidact and a prodigy of philosophy and theology.
Cometan began writing the Omnidoxy at seventeen, one of the longest books in history, at around one and a quarter million words. Cometan also became the world’s youngest religious leader and the first Astronic philosopher due to his organization of the Astronic tradition, a new category of religions and philosophies to sit alongside the Abrahamic and Dharmic beliefs based around an astronomical theme.
After another series of intensive ideations, Cometan created the Spacefaring World franchise, a futuristic pseudo-fantasy based on humanity’s initial endeavors in space exploration. This fictional universe, the book series, and its characters allowed Cometan to convey an Astronist prophecy of humanity’s inevitable future in a cosmocentric society.
Cometan became the first to base his rationality for space exploration on religious grounds. He also considered the future of religion to be based on commercialization. He foresaw the resurgence in popularity of long-persecuted astronomical religions and the introduction of new astronomically themed religions, with astronomy being the progenitor of religion.

When Cometan became the first astronomer, he started disseminating his thoughts using technology and marketing methods to rearrange society according to the values established in astronomy. His first account of Astronomical belief and faith in history was his seminal work of philosophy and theology, the Omnidoxy.
Cometan experienced and attained many personal inspirations from fifteen to twenty-two. The founding Astronism treatise, the Omnidoxy, was written solely on these forms of the original revelation.
After the development of the Astronist religion, Cometan dedicated his life to spreading his ideas and opinions globally in the culture of spacefaring, which he believed would eventually develop as part of humanity’s planned humanity generations on and beyond the Earth. The governing religion carried out this effort and was credited to Cometan’s establishment.
DuriCometan’s formative age: Inspired by the mononymous names of ancient Greek philosophers, he changed his name from Brandon Taylorian to a mononym and chose the cosmically themed mononym of Cometanto to suit his philosophy’s astronomical theme.
