Shama Sikander Gesawat is an Indian actress and model. She was born on 4 August 1981 in Markana, Rajasthan. She is the daughter of Sikander Ali Gesawat and Gulshan. Shama has three siblings: Khalid Sikander, Rizwan Sikander, and Salma Sikander. She did her Graduation from Roshan Taneja School of Acting, Mumbai, India. She likes traveling a lot.
She got her first break from the movie Prem Aagan in 1998, followed by many more films like Mann (1999), Ansh: The Deadly Part (2002), Dhoom Dadakka(2008), and The Contract(2008). She vividly participated in Dance and Reality shows like Jet Set Go (2008), Jhoom India (2010), and Boogie Woogie (2010). She also did a web series called Maaya (2016).
She won many awards, including Great Face Of The Year (2004), Best Debut (2004), and ActreCritics’cs’itics’ Choice (2005). She was also nominated for Best Actor in the Lead Role, Official Selection for Maaya in 2005 and 2017, respectively.
